We recently completed a keyword research project and are now enhancing our website's SEO post-redesign. We're seeking someone with strong SEO skills to work with our web developer, focusing on technical SEO to optimize search rankings. Our site, currently being developed in WordPress, is slated for launch this year. This role will focus on implementing robust SEO strategies to boost traffic and visibility.   • Our organization thrives due to a dedicated team, including our founder/executive director/volunteer manager, all deeply committed to our cause. Additionally, we benefit from a talented group of volunteers skilled in editing, copywriting, UI/UX design, and web management. To support our operations, we use a suite of advanced tools such as Slack, Trello, Google Workspace, WordPress, and other essential business applications, ensuring our continued success and effectiveness.
How this will help
This project will save us $5,767 , allowing us to continue to operate on a shoestring budget.

Since we don't have a marketing budget, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) becomes crucial for spreading awareness of our mission. It will help people discover our platform, read stories of others' trauma, find hope, and encourage them to share their own stories and become part of a supportive community. By leveraging SEO techniques, we can ensure that our platform is visible to those who need it most and that our message reaches the widest possible audience.

  • Professional creates list of every page in a spreadsheet with notes and recommendations for improvement

  • Professional assesses technical site elements that affect crawlability like sitemap, use of HTTPS, HTML structure, site speed, and presence of 404 or server errors
  • Professional provides recommendations to improve search engine indexing

  • Professional uses a free tool (like Moz ) to assess presence and state of backlinks and anchor text
