Mission

NJ LEEP empowers urban youth from underserved neighborhoods in urban New Jersey to perform at high academic levels by building skills through law-related, mathematic, and other educational programs, developing the habits necessary for lasting success and community leadership, and offering exposure to role models who have achieved academic and professional success.

What We Do

NJ LEEP facilitates a College Bound Program for urban high school students. The program is an out-of-school time program in which students participate continually from grades 9-12, until they enter college. The program operates Monday through Friday from 4:00-6:00 during the school year, from 10:00-3:00 on Saturdays, and in a five week, five-day-a week, seven-hour a day summer session. NJ LEEP provides students with tutoring help for high school, Life Skills classes, writing and grammar classes, college access counseling, SAT prep, and social capital building through mentoring, moot court competitions, and legal internships. 100% of NJ LEEP College Bound Program graduates have gained admission to college.
