I love the Web and have been designing and coding websites since 1996. What started out merely as a hobby and general interest soon developed into something much more. I studied web design and development on my own for a number of years and eventually enrolled with The Art Institute of Pittsburgh in order to obtain some formal education. I graduated in 2009 with a 3.93 GPA and Web Design Diploma. I have spent nearly every day since then immersing myself in the various aspects of the field.
I founded my own web design and development company in August of 2014. I provide website solutions for individuals, small businesses and non-profit organizations, including social media marketing and promotions along with basic SEO (search engine optimization). I primarily use the Genesis Framework for WordPress to build secure, standards compliant, and responsive websites that work across a variety of different screen sizes and devices. In late 2015, I also began working full-time as a web developer for a strategic marketing and research firm that works with clients from all over the United States.
Volunteering and helping non-profit organizations through Catchafire has been extremely rewarding for me, and I love the opportunity to share my knowledge with others.
