CCFY's mission is to build community capacity for juvenile justice reform using a three-pronged approach that includes: Demonstration Projects, Leadership Development, and Training & Technical Assistance. We welcome the opportunity to work with a brand messaging expert to help us create a brand message and marketing strategy for CCFY that will increase individual donors and help us market our Training and TA offerings to multiple audiences.
We currently have proposals and brochures outlining our language used to date which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have active MailChimp, FaceBook and Twitter accounts and the ability to provide any other information you need.
CCFY is a grassroots, advocacy and leadership development organization. Youth and family members are part of the everyday atmosphere and are always welcome to stop by. To many, it's a home away from home. CCFY staff represent the constituency of the Bronx and share a personal interest in the mission.
Community Connections for Youth (CCFY) is a Bronx-based non-profit organization whose mission is to empower grassroots faith and neighborhood organizations to develop effective community-driven alternatives-to-incarceration for youth. Responding to the crisis created by overreliance on youth incarceration, CCFY seeks to develop the power and capacity of directly affected communities to develop effective alternatives for addressing the problems of youth crime and delinquency.
In 2009, Rev. Austria incorporated CCFY as a non-profit organization to advance the vision of training and equipping community participation in the juvenile justice reform movement through a threefold approach that includes: Leadership Development - CCFY facilitates the development of community leadership to inform the juvenile justive reform process, with a specific focus on family members, faith leaders, and grassroots community leaders. Training & Technical Assistance - CCFY provides expert consultation to system and community stakeholders seeking to implement community capacity building projects for juvenile justice reform.
