What we need
  • Audit of the existing systems and processes; the audit is limited to hiring and termination practices, work scheduling, payroll processing, benefits administration, insurance, and compliance with federal and state employment laws
  • Recommendation for process improvements and software providers (if necessary)
  • Implementation of chosen software (if necessary)
  • Training on maintenance tasks
What we have in place
  • We currently have HR representative that advises us on certain issues, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have an employee handbook, forms, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $6,746 , allowing us to create a quality system that will assist with a staff of 65 committed human service providers.

The success of our organization depends on talented employees and HR best practices. Without your help, we cannot create a best practice and policy for talent management. Your skills will empower us to have a better system for employee satisfaction.

What we do

Elmcor Youth & Adult Activities, Inc. is a Queens, New York non-profit, multi-service organization of professionals providing a variety of comprehensive programs that serve all populations from preschool aged children to senior citizens. For 54 years, these services have included after-school programs,summer camps,recreation, college bound; substance use prevention, treatment and recovery; senior centers; food pantry, computer lab, and career pathways.
