How this will help
This project will save us $4,817 , allowing us to This project will save us an estimated $2,500 AND will give our young adult leaders the chance to engage directly with a marketing/design professional.
UTEC is the lead agency for a statewide coalition of ~5 nonprofits that also serve proven-risk young adults, or those who have been involved in the justice system. The coalition is currently known as Teens Leading the Way, but it's time to update the name and branding.
Most of the members are out of their teens, and the coalition is focused on justice reforms that affect young adults. How can we convey that more effectively with policymakers and allies? TLTW has shown that its members can make great changes - now we need an identity that will, too.
Project plan
Our mission
UTEC's mission and promise is to ignite and nurture the ambition of our most disconnected young people to trade violence and poverty for social and economic success.
Teens Leading The Way (TLTW) is a statewide, youth-led coalition which seeks to empower young people to create lasting change through policymaking. Young adults in TLTW create and maintain campaigns to bring about social change on the state-wide level.
Testimonials
Anna gave thoughtful guidance and offered a range of design concepts for our young adult leaders' input. Her approach helped our steering committee refine the identity and visual priorities for our new coalition name and look. We appreciated the fact that she valued our social justice priorities as well as design input from the young adult reviewers!
