Project details

What we need
  • A photographer who will attend the Organization's event to take photos
  • A set of professionally edited, high-resolution images delivered in a digital format suitable for web or print use
  • Note: The photographer needs to be available in the same geographical location as the Organization or be willing to travel at own expense
Additional details

Needs someone to be local (Boston area) to take picture for the members in order to update our website with better picture on the site.

What we have in place
  • We currently have basics one but I would like it done soon, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have opportunity to schedule on Weekend, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,998 , allowing us to This project will save me some money and will be very beneficial to the organizations.

I need a professional to take pictures for our Board Members for our website.
Most likely, that can be schedule within 1 to 2 weeks to have everyone ready
A professional edited, delivered digital format suitable for web and print.

Photographer needs to be in the Boston areas and local to us and willing to travel at own expense.

We will be on a uniform as well taking a group picture looking more professional.

Also can work on other projects.

Prep: Initial Meeting and Goal Setting
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional discuss the photography requirements, which should include the approximate number and types of photographs required (e.g., specific people, moments, or things), the desired style of photography, and the intended use for the photos or required digital format
  • Volunteer Manager provides the event schedule / run-of-show, which should highlight any key moments that need to be photographed (e.g., a planned speech or awards ceremony)
  • Professional and Volunteer Manager agree upon a work plan that includes the time and location of the event, any budget for travel, film, or other materials, and timing for receiving the edited photos

Milestone 1: Event Photography
  • Professional attends the event and takes photos according to the agreed-upon photography requirements

Milestone 2: Editing
  • Professional edits and color corrects a subset of the photographs taken, according to the agreed-upon number of photographs required

Milestone 3: Presentation of Deliverables
  • Professional delivers the edited set of photographs to the Organization in the agreed-upon format, as well as the complete set of photographs (raw files)
  • Organization credits the photos appropriately

Our mission

We are a volunteer group who came together after the January 2010 earthquake to respond to the needs of families in remote areas of Haiti that are routinely overlooked by relief efforts. We are health care providers, community development planners and neighborhood stabilization volunteers who live in Boston and travel to Haiti to carry out our missions.
