What We Have In Place
  • As the founder and president of Regenerating Our Offspring Through Stories, Inc. it give me great pleasure to know that I have a people who are willing to volunteer their time to help take the organization to the next level. As a professional storyteller, author and educator, I want to give my community and organization the best there is to offer. Thanks in advance for allowing us this opportunity.

How This Will Help

This project is important because we are in our tenth year as a non-profit and it's time to take our responsibilities to a new level. We want people in our community to know that we are serious about responding to creative challenges in the community (children, teens and elders) while deepening a sense of self and pride. A world of words carved into well told stories shape worlds across cultures, creating roots that enlighten souls and whirlwinds that transform minds.

What We Do

ROOTS, Inc. programs and activities draw on the belief that 1) stories are powerful, 2) stories have the potential to spark creativity and imagination 3) it is important to teach children to be storytellers and readers so that they can appreciate and grow in their culture. We us the art of storytelling in the classroom, theatre and to help our seniors with their precious memories.
