What we need
  • A written summary of the Organization's marketing goals and target audiences
  • A list of key marketing channels that will yield the highest return on investment, with rationale
  • Specific tactics the Organization can use to leverage the identified marketing channels
  • Messaging guidelines for the channels identified, including specific key messages (if needed)
  • A summary of the key metrics for evaluating marketing effectiveness, and guidance on how to track metrics over time
What we have in place
  • We currently have educational and promotional material, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have brandtoolkit.cancer.orgAt the American Cancer Society, we're on a mission to free the worl, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $11,198 , allowing us to increase our presence and engagement with new potential attendees, volunteers, and donors, as well as raise funds while paying tribute to those who have fought cancer.

To create a successful and strategic marketing strategy to enhance the most impactful ceremony at American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Lincoln County MO event-- the luminaria ceremony. At Relay For Life the community will come together to save lives from cancer through our fundraising efforts, celebrate our cancer survivors with a reception, and pay tribute to those who have battled cancer.
We take a moment of silence to honor every life touched by cancer. Luminaria are purchased, decorated, and dedicated to a loved one lost, someone currently battling cancer, or anyone who's overcome it .

Our mission

The American Cancer Society's mission is to save lives, celebrate lives, and lead the fight for a world without cancer.

What we do

The American Cancer Society is a nationwide, community-based voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem. Our Global Headquarters are located in Atlanta, Georgia, and we have regional and local offices throughout the country to ensure we have a presence in every community.

While most people know us for our research, we do so much more. We attack cancer from every angle. We promote healthy lifestyles to help you prevent cancer. We research cancer and its causes to find more answers and better treatments. We fight for lifesaving policy changes. We provide everything from emotional support to the latest cancer information for those who have been touched by cancer. And we do it all 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
