Brand Messaging
Brand Messaging
Project details
What we need
- Document that articulates in a consistent voice key messages about the Organization’s identity, constituents, mission, and vision
- Creation of taglines and talking points to help the Organization communicate clearly and concisely
- Recommendations on tailoring messaging for common communication channels (e.g., website copy, printed marketing collateral, pitching verbally)
Additional details
We have a variety of materials that we use to communicate our vision and mission to clients, supporters and community members. We're looking for more consistency in our materials and branding talking points, particularly a clear message for members of our community so that we can continue to gain support.
What we have in place
- While we have a variety of materials we've used for different purposes, each one is well-written and captures important aspects of our organization. We have utilized volunteers who are skilled in graphic design to help us develop these materials. We have an elevator pitch newly created through a project on Catchafire. We have staff and key volunteers willing to put time into this project.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,600 , allowing us to provide basic needs and case management for homeless youth. We're a very small non-profit so staff isn't able to devote the needed time for a project this size.
We have developed materials on an as-needed basis. Having consistency in our message to different audiences and for a variety of purposes will help us tell our story more succinctly and purposefully, with the goal of gaining support and acceptance for the youth we serve.
Project plan
Our mission
To create a welcoming and safe environment for youth experiencing homelessness, where working together we remove barriers, empowering youth to move towards positive and healthy networks of support, personal well-being, and housing stability.
What we do
We assist youth who are experiencing homelessness or housing instability with basic needs including food, hot meals, clothes, hygiene products, computer use, sleeping bags, blankets, pillows, moving in supplies, etc. Through case management, we connect youth to service providers who assist them in areas of education, employment, housing, and well-being.
