What we need
- Creation of an email marketing campaign (a series of up to four emails) from scratch, or an overhaul of an existing campaign, in an established email marketing service, such as: Mailchimp, Campaign Monitor, Constant Contact, etc.
- Training on how to successfully update, send and monitor an email marketing campaign
Additional details
We recently completed our largest annual fundraiser Veterans Gratitude Week.
In the past, we do not done a very good job of following up and engaging our donors after the initial contribution and thank you letter. We are looking to cultivate new donor awareness and retention.
What we have in place
- We currently have a dedicated board member who is familiar with our processes, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have another board member who has development skills, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to provide a scholarship to veterans who may want to take a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training program.
We have an opportunity to make sure that the donors who have dedicated their hard earned money to our cause feel important. We want to welcome our first time donors into our VYP family & provide them with an experience of knowing they are helping to make a difference in the lives of the veterans we serve by their support of our programs. We want to cultivate our current donors to build personal relationships & to create donor enthusiasm and loyalty to be repeat donors.

Our mission
Veterans Yoga Project is on a mission to support recovery and resilience among veterans, active duty military, reservists, members of the National Guard, their families and communities.
We believe every veteran has earned the right to reintegrate into civilian life fully empowered to become successful, well-rounded individuals in healthy relationships with their families and their communities.
What we do
To achieve this, VYP provides Mindful Resilience Yoga for veterans and active-duty military members living with PTS(D), anxiety, depression, and other chronic mental health conditions resulting from service-related trauma. VYP's programming offers tools and techniques, rooted in yoga and grounded in science, proven to enhance clients' abilities to manage physical and mental symptoms. VYP provides support whether individuals are currently struggling with severe symptoms or are focused on giving back to their fellow veterans.
