Strategic Plan
Strategic Plan
Project details
What we need
- Analysis of the Organization’s current needs, long-term goals, programs, competitive standing and resources
- Recommendations for an appropriate course of action to reach the desired objectives, including allocation of resources and how to measure success
- Plan outlining the resources and steps required to reach short- and long-term goals
Additional details
TeachUNITED is seeking assistance in creating a comprehensive strategic fundraising and development plan. We currently have four main revenue streams: individual donors (including a large donor fund), grant foundations, corporate giving, and pay-for-services. We have a very small team, and we want to create a formal plan about how to best utilize our limited time and resources to pursue each revenue stream the most effective way.
What we have in place
- We would like to analyze our current process, possibly conduct a feasibility study on each revenue stream, and create a clear to-do calendar for the year to meet our fundraising goals.
How this will help
This project will save us $12,550 , allowing us to prioritize our programs and ensure that dollars go directly to funding our mission internationally.
This project will help us focus our fundraising efforts in the most efficient way possible for our small team and maximize our global impact.

Our mission
TeachUNITED is a global non-profit dedicated to reducing poverty and inequality through education. We focus on underserved communities where educational disparities are most acute.
What we do
Every child on the planet deserves access to an equitable and quality education.
Yet 250 million kids around the world still leave school without
critical reading, writing & math skills.
If current trends continue, by 2030 more than 750 million young people will not be on track to acquire basic secondary level skills. A global teacher shortage, estimated to reach 69 million by 2030, makes this learning crisis even more pressing. Without action, more than a quarter of the population in low-income countries -- more than 1.5 billion adults -- could be living in extreme poverty in 2050. Underserved and rural areas are the hardest hit.
TeachUNITED is determined to change that.
Our core belief is that a quality education is possible when students are taught by quality teachers. By providing training, resources, and long-term connections for teachers in underserved communities, we improve student learning outcomes.
