Project details

What we need
  • Consultation regarding the Organization's current branding and desired branding objectives
  • Visual branding guidelines / style guide that include specific colors, fonts, and other graphic design elements to use in print and digital communications materials
  • High-resolution logo delivered electronically (in formats for digital and print use)

We currently have a logo and we'd like to update/modify it to better depict our brand identity.

What we have in place
  • We currently have a logo in need of modifying/updating, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have lots of data and photos, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,817 , allowing us to make a stronger brand impact within the disability community that will make us more visible and recognizable to break through the clutter.

Brand identity is everything and we want a logo that can grow with us.

Prep: Distribution of Prep Materials
  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with current logo (if available), branding guidelines, and any existing marketing/communications materials
  • Volunteer Manager sends Professional examples of logos, brands, and design elements preferred, and links to website and social media pages

Milestone 1: Brainstorm
  • Professional and Volunteer Manager connect to discuss the branding goals, target audience, and preferred design elements
  • Professional and Volunteer Manager agree upon a style concept and the detailed scope of deliverables (e.g., logo, custom graphics, updated style guide, new style guide, etc.)

Milestone 2: Logo Design
  • Professional drafts up to three different logo designs and shares with the Volunteer Manager for feedback
  • Volunteer Manager selects one of the design options and provides feedback
  • Professional iterates upon the design for final delivery, including versions of the logo for different uses (e.g., black & white, full color, and formats for print and digital use)
  • Professional delivers the final version of the logo including specifications for usage (colors, size, etc.)

Milestone 3: Visual Branding Guidelines / Style Guide
  • Professional drafts the visual branding guidelines, which features the logo design and a specific set of colors, fonts, and any custom graphic elements to be incorporated in future communications
  • Volunteer Manager reviews the draft guidelines and provides feedback
  • Professional incorporates feedback and prepares the final version
  • If custom graphics are included in the agreed-upon scope of work, the Professional provides them in high-resolution formats for digital and print use

SHOWAbility is the ally that uplifts the gifts of people with disabilities to be valued and enjoyed by the world without limitations or barriers. In a visible, catchy, and fun-loving way, all of SHOWAbility programming seeks to increase awareness and visibility for the talents and capabilities of people with disabilities so they can pursue their dream to shine on stage while being valued for their uniqueness. SHOWAbility is on the leading edge, initiating unique change by fearlessly creating programming that "values differences", "enjoys similarities", and "embraces oneness" of all people without being patronizing. All are seen as able and not unable, broken, or sick.

Our programs offerings are:
Virtual
* Monthly Virtual Artistic Masterclasses that offer performing arts training program for an inclusive audience of artists and enthusiasts with and without disabilities.

In-Person (once things open-up)
* Statewide Talent Show seeking talented stage performers across the disability spectrum
* The INCLUSIVE CHORUS, made up of singers with and without disabilities
* Disability Awareness Career Day at elementary schools featuring professionals with disabilities
Currently being curated
* Advocacy for accessibility and inclusion in arts theatres and performance venues
* Booking agency for artists with disabilities seeking opportunities for Film/TV and stage.
