Project details

What we need
  • A set of success metrics for the Organization's program such as key performance indicators and secondary performance indicators
  • Guidelines on how to measure success metrics, how often to measure them, and how to present metrics to internal and external stakeholders
Additional details

A written analysis of the community in which the New Jersey Orators serves and its ability to address identified needs/problems for its beneficiaries
A review of the value and impact of the Organization's Beyond HS Educational Conference on Civic Engagement for urban and suburban youth
A research data analysis report that identifies the top social issues for youth in the communities
An appendix of all data gathered to perform analysis, including sources

What we have in place
  • We currently have list of student concerns from an initial planning conference, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have access to 150 middle & high school students to survey, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $10,240 , allowing us to to use the savings to hire a consultant to help our board update the 5-Year Strategic Plan. This Strategic Plan is needed to guide our program activities for years.

Civic Engagement is a big part of our nation's governing infrastructure. That's why the New Jersey Orators has decided to offer their youth an opportunity to foster discussions on various aspects of civic engagement and social justice. This conference provides an opportunity for youth to converse with experts in social justice, higher education, and legislative policy to have an in-depth learning experience in the analysis of issues affecting their communities.
