What we need
  • Analysis of website’s on-page content, technical structure, and presence of inbound links on other websites for search engine optimization
  • Actionable steps to improve website’s performance in search engines via organic search

We want an SEO audit & tips on how to draw traffic to our website, especially to increase sign ups for our courses https://oaec.org/events/courses-overview/ and to get people to come shop at our Plant Nursery https://oaec.org/plant-nursery. WordPress +YOAST, Google Ad Grant, & Analytics set up. Need help optimizing so it all works well together.

What we have in place
  • We currently have WP with YOAST, analytics, Google Adwords Grant, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a part time communications staff and a part time IT person, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $5,767 , allowing us to be more economically self-sustaining & focus on our ecological justice collaborations and policy initiatives. We get 2/3 from donations & 1/3 from these income generating programs (nursery & courses.)

These income generating programs help to subsidize other projects, collaborations & policy initiatives in ecological justice. We had to cancel one of our courses due to low enrollment and also lost money on our nursery last year. We need to make sure the nursery shows up in searches and that our Permaculture and School Garden Teacher Training course Google Ads result in sign ups.

  • Professional assesses technical site elements that affect crawlability like sitemap, use of HTTPS, HTML structure, site speed, and presence of 404 or server errors
  • Professional provides recommendations to improve search engine indexing

Milestone 3: Off-Site Link Audit
  • Professional uses a free tool (like Moz ) to assess presence and state of backlinks and anchor text
  • Professional provides recommendations to improve domain and page authority
