Project details

What we need
  • Review of up to 20 pages of copy for grammar, style, tone, and consistency
  • Advice on how to write effective copy going forward
Additional details

We need someone to review the external communications (emails, letters, e-newsletters) and give feedback to the responsible staff member before the copy goes to the executive director for final approval.

This project will likely lead to collaborating on the creation of organizational collateral such as introductory brochure, donor welcome letter, board orientation packet, etc.

What we have in place
  • You would be working directly with the Development Director who will provide draft copy for your professional advice. The scope includes emails to donors as well as thank you letters and can grow to encompass many more forms of communication as desired.
How this will help
This project will save us $1,792 , allowing us to buy over 300 board books for toddlers to encourage their literacy skills.

Clear and concise writing is always important and arguably even more so when it's coming from an educational organization. Having a great copy editor will help to convey our message while ensuring that our reputation isn't damaged by poor writing.
