Employee Handbook
Employee Handbook
Project details
What we need
- Audit of existing Employee Handbook, or internal communications regarding employment policies
- Edit or creation of a new Employee Handbook, which may include any of the following: Standards of Conduct, Work Schedules, Leave Policies, Termination Policies, Safety and Security, Anti-Discrimination policies, Compensation and Benefits policies, any Non-Disclosure Agreements or Conflict of Interest statements that may apply, and any other pertinent information
Additional details
We have a policy manual for both board and staff of our small NP that sat on the shelf for 3+ years gathering dust. As the new ED - I have found this manual and have been in the process of updating it with current office practices. But before we complete the update - I would like a professional to assist in a final review of the manual to provide outside perspective and expertise.
What we have in place
- We currently have a policy manual that has been updated internally, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have dedicated staff to work with you, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,905 , allowing us to allowing us to donate more funds to the public schools we serve, ensuring all students get the best educational experience possible
This policy manual is a gold mine for both board and staff to help guide daily operations and overall practices to ensure standards based excellence. I want to ensure this policy manual is the best it can be before unveiling it to the board and staff for the first time in 3+ years as most board and staff are unaware of its existence. Having outside guidance and expertise is essential as a final step in this process.
Project plan
Our mission
Established in 1982, the Menlo Park-Atherton Education Foundation (MPAEF) seeks to enable the Menlo Park City School District (MPCSD) to provide an exceptional education to students at Laurel, Encinal, Oak Knoll, and Hillview schools. Working with parents, local businesses, community members, and the District, we raise money to pay for high-quality teachers, a comprehensive educational program, and teaching innovation beyond what is possible with public dollars alone.
