Project details

What we need
  • Audit of existing Employee Handbook, or internal communications regarding employment policies
  • Edit or creation of a new Employee Handbook, which may include any of the following: Standards of Conduct, Work Schedules, Leave Policies, Termination Policies, Safety and Security, Anti-Discrimination policies, Compensation and Benefits policies, any Non-Disclosure Agreements or Conflict of Interest statements that may apply, and any other pertinent information
Additional details

PEI Kids is a 34-year old organization with long-established agency culture, policies and procedures. Our Employee Handbook was last updated about eight years ago, and needs updating of the content and language to reflect current law and best practices.

What we have in place
  • We currently have an existing handbook along with ad hoc policy statements., which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have Supplemental policies/procedures & HR/Operations Director, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,430 , allowing us to ffocus on other important infrastructure projects and communicate more effectively with our staff.

Updating our employee handbook has been a long-standing need and is part of our strategic plan. It is the guiding document that drives our HR and recruitment and communicates how we value our staff. So the Handbook is considered a strategically important document for the organization to support our recruitment and retention goals.
