What we have in place
- Leah Thiffault, Managing Director, will be your 'client' for this project and will provide a thorough download of existing mission and values materials. Included is qualitative data from a focus group conducted with board and staff members, history of the organization, and high level competitive information.
Leah has experience in brand planning, and has created mission and values for brands in the past. She seeks your support to complete this work for the current iteration of GSS.
How this will help
This project will save us $19,448 , allowing us to make essential facilities improvements and keep administrative efforts focused on development.
GSS is nearly 30 years old, yet has struggled to gain outside funding due in large part to frequent executive turnover. The current staff and board, in place for over 1 year, are focused on creating a solid foundation that will support the organization long-term, and avoid continuing this pattern. We are in need of a clearer mission to serve guide strategic planning this spring.

Our mission
Green Street Studios (GSS) is a dance and performance nonprofit located in Cambridge, MA with a 25-year legacy of supporting a breadth of dancers and artists. GSS’ programs facilitate the artistic journey from training to production, and engage audiences by providing access to dance forms extending from traditional/classical disciplines to innovative and experimental movement.
