What we need
- A photographer who will work with the Organization over 1-2 days to capture an important event or shoot a series of photographs to tell the Organization's story
- A set of professionally edited, high-resolution images delivered in JPEG or TIFF format suitable for web or print use
- Note: The photographer needs to be available in the same geographical location as the Organization or be willing to travel at own expense

Madre Latina Gala is on Saturday, May 4th. Is our main fundraising event. In a welcoming and inclusive environment, we connect and collaborate with educators, entrepreneurs, politicians, administrators, non-profit and other business leaders from our state. The festivity includes an Award Ceremony and Scholarships for at least 6 High school students.
What we have in place
- We currently have a lot of information to share with you about the event, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have the agenda and details fo the event, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $5,048 , allowing us to continue working in the first Latino Civic Engagement Academy in my city and use this funds for Scholarship and Educational training for our youths.
Madre Latina told her story with photos. Last year was very stressful because the photographer did not show up and my Interns helps me. I need a responsible person who is interest to left a legacy in my community and in our agency

Our mission
Mission: is to promote and encourage the advancement of Hispanic mothers by providing training, technical assistance, and mentoring in order to pursue continuing education.
What we do
Is a 501(c)3, that was founded in 2011 by a group of Latinas who wanted to connect the Latino community with programs and services in Connecticut. It was incorporated in 2012 and is dedicated to improving the health, educational attainment, human welfare and opportunities for Latino families in Connecticut.
Madre Latina overall goals are to provide educational, health and lifelong learning opportunities for the Latino mothers and their families in a safe environment along with cultural awareness activities.
Madre Latina is governed by a voluntary Board of Directors representing parents, advocates, teachers, social workers, professionals, business and community leaders.
