Salesforce Training
Salesforce Training
Project details
What we need
- A one-day intensive Salesforce training for up to five staff members
- A document summarizing topics covered during training
Additional details
We are looking for instruction in using Salesforce as a tool for fundraising, specifically individual gifts fundraising. We require that you've trained people in such Salesforce features as Engagement Plans and other features to support Moves Management, and generally how to manage funder prospects from identification to plan to tracking activities and gifts. Please don't apply if you haven't done this, thanks.
What we have in place
- We currently have Salesforce implemented as a core system for 5 years, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a consultant who has customized Salesforce for us, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $7,888 , allowing us to fuel our refrigerated truck for 15 months, and bring thousands of pounds of fresh food to people in need.
We have been using Salesforce only in a rudimentary way for fundraising. Improving our knowledge and skills will enable us to raise more money more efficiently, and get more food to more people in need.
Project plan
Our mission
ExtraFood.org's mission is to help end hunger and wasted food in Marin County, California, where 1 in 5 people worry about where their next meal will come from.
What we do
Through our county-wide food recovery program, we rescue excess fresh food from any Marin business or school and immediately deliver it to safety net partners -- such as homeless shelters, senior housing centers, and after-school programs -- serving Marin's most vulnerable children, adults, and families. In 5 years we've rescued 2.7 million pounds of food and delivered it to 121 sites across Marin, including 34 new food programs we've started with our partners. We're reaching 8,000+ people every month with healthy, fresh food.
