Project details

What we need
  • Analysis of the Organization’s current needs, long-term goals, programs, competitive standing and resources
  • Recommendations for an appropriate course of action to reach the desired objectives, including allocation of resources and how to measure success
  • Plan outlining the resources and steps required to reach short- and long-term goals
Additional details

The Institute of Music for Children is in the final year of our three-year strategic plan and we need consultant who can lead us into some bold decisionmaking about the Institute's future.

What we have in place
  • We currently have strong leadership and an idea of strengths/weaknesses, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a current strategic plan, a Parent Council, data, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $12,550 , allowing us to provide specialized attention to special needs students who come to the Institute for arts experiences.

The Institute of Music for Children was started as a church mission 25 years ago and has since spun off to become it's own professional non-profit arts organization. We still rent space from our founding church, but we are in need of a permanent home. This plan will focus on capacity-building and readiness for a capital campaign, and will engage our leaders in decionmaking critical to the organization's future.
