What we need
- Description of event concept and programming
- Recommendations and research on venue, catering, and other vendors needed
- Timeline for preparation and outline of team roles & responsibilities
- Recommendations on pre- and post-event communications
- Detailed day-of-event schedule
- Note: This project does not include on-site event coordination or support on the day of the event. Related projects that may be completed in parallel are the Event Vendor Selection project, the Event Publicity Plan project, and the Event Budget Plan project

We are conducting our first Annual Fundraiser called "Dancing with the Marin County Stars" on June 9, 2019. Venue is set. Our Celebrity dancers perform for $10 votes with a $20,000 each. We have a local contract event planner, but need an event Strategic Plan and strategies for meeting our fundraising goals, pre- and post communications, and development of a donor database from this event that we can use for future events. Many of our collateral material texts have been completed in draft.
What we have in place
- We currently have a seasoned event planner and some marketing support, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have our collateral materials prepared in draft, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to invest funding in the development of the event, produce higher quality collateral material and set the framework for the strategic planning of future events.
Funds raised will support our employment services and mental health recovery programs for lower-income individuals, help build workplace equity and reduce stigma in the workplace of Marin County that has been deemed the most inequitable County in California in terms of racial and economic equity.
