Copywriting
Project details
What we need
- Well-written and compelling copy for marketing or communication materials; examples include a brochure, blog post, one-pager/fact sheet, fundraising/promotional materials
- Messaging that is consistent with brand identity, public relations strategy and communications objectives
Additional details
Our organization has five Clubs throughout Los Angeles under its umbrella. Our goal is to create templates for stakeholder communications collateral.
This includes:
Templates for board packets, parent information, flyers, program books for families, donor brochures, and partner opportunities information.
As each of our Clubs serve different communities having tailored yet synchronised marketing collateral is key to our organization.
What we have in place
- We currently have flyers, brochure and examples from other organizations, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a general idea of how we want the templates to look, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to provide more programming and services to the communities our clubs serve.
The creation of these templates will help keep branding integrity throughout each of our Clubs.

Our mission
Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Los Angeles (BGCMLA) was founded in December 2015, as a strategic partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs of America and Boys & Girls Clubs of Los Angeles to help steward a cluster of Metro-area Clubs.
Historically, the 27 Boys & Girls Clubs of Los Angeles operated independently, which meant each club tackled their own budgets, managed their own human resources, and created their own internal processes to serve their respective communities as best as possible. However, BGCMLA recognized that a critical first step towards eliminating the gap in access for thousands of youth in Los Angeles was to implement new, innovative operating and governance models for our existing Club organizations.
