What we need

We are a quickly growing, small nonprofit organization placing thousands of volunteers annually in activities ranging from rebuilding homes after disasters to upgrading public spaces to assembling and donating bicycles to youth. As we grow, we hope to attract and retain the best talent possible. We are in need of someone with the background and knowledge to help us frame our compensation appropriately to position the organization for further success.

What we have in place
  • We currently have position descriptions, and salary and benefit information, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have staff eager to "up our game" on this front, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $6,746 , allowing us to deploy another team of volunteers to Puerto Rico to help rebuild houses destroyed by Hurricane Maria.

As we evolve and grow, it's become clear that while passion about our mission is what draws people to Break A Difference, to realize our potential, it is imperative that we retain a trained, committed workforce. During the start-up phase of the organization, we lacked resources, therefore we paid the least we could to "get by". Our growth and success have led to additional resources. It is time for us to determine where and how to best invest those resources.
