Logo Design & Visual Brand Identity
Logo Design & Visual Brand Identity
Project details
What we need
- Consultation regarding the Organization's current branding and desired branding objectives
- Visual branding guidelines / style guide that include specific colors, fonts, and other graphic design elements to use in print and digital communications materials
- High-resolution logo delivered electronically (in formats for digital and print use)
Additional details
We are looking to modernize our existing logo (the one currently featured on our Catchafire profile) while keeping the integrity of its components. We have design elements such as fonts and sketches to help get started.
What we have in place
- We currently have an existing logo, design notes, sketches, and font ideas which should make it easy for you to get started.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,817 , allowing us to invest more into our fundraising efforts in support of the restoration of an original Pacific Electric 511 trolley car that will be the highlight of our museum campus!
The organization was founded 10 years ago and with it, the current logo, which was designed by a previous Board member. Since then, we have not had an aesthetic update to our collateral (such as brochures, letterhead, etc). Having the expertise of a professional designer to help us refine our logo will help attract more attention to our project, help us develop fun, attractive merchandise to sell in support of our bottom line, and will present a polished, professional look to our funders.

Testimonials
Kristen not only impressed me with her design capabilities, she also made the entire process the most seamless experience of any creative project, volunteer or paid, that I have been involved with to this date. On our initial introductory call, Kristen offered a number of insights into how to shape a compelling visual identity both for the logo that we were seeking to have redesigned, as well as useful and thoughtful ideas that went beyond the scope of the project. Her friendly and personable demeanor coupled with a true appreciation and interest in our mission gave me more than enough confidence that we would be putting the future branding of the Venice Heritage Foundation (its first overhaul in 10 years!) in the right hands. Kristen patiently incorporated multiple rounds of feedback that I compiled from our Board members and delivered updates within a few days or less, keeping the energy and momentum flowing. A previous attempt to redesign the logo outside of Catchafire spanned several months with a number of stops-and-starts, while this project with Kristen was completed in less than 30 days – with a clean, contemporary, and compelling package of visuals and our first color guide as a result. I look forward to working with Kristen again and recommend her to anyone seeking out a highly skilled artist who goes above and beyond, and is a pleasure to work with. Thank you, Kristen!
