Project details

What we need
  • Feedback on the current website’s layout, user functionality, mobile-friendliness, visual design, content, and other key features
  • Clear articulation of the Organization’s goals for the website
  • Recommendations for improvements to help achieve the Organization’s desired goals
  • Note: If you are looking for a more specific, in-depth audit of your website's design and usability, try our Website Usability Audit project
Additional details

Our messaging has changed and the audiences we're trying to reach have changed over the past five years since we launched this particular website, and we are realizing our website hasn't kept up. But our staff is so "in the weeds" that we're having a hard time teasing out exactly what our website does well/doesn't do well and what needs to be changed and updated. I'm eager for a fresh pair of eyes to help us figure that out!

What we have in place
  • I am relatively new to Google Analytics but do have a basic understanding of how to run reports. We also have a general sense of who our audiences are/who they should be, but I hope this audit will help us drill down into some more specifics.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,762 , allowing us to provide more books for kids! A brand new book from our wishlist of diverse and inclusive books costs around $4. So with the savings, we can purchase almost 1700 of those high-interest books!

We need our website to catch up with our priorities and messaging. This will be so helpful, especially in our new-ish efforts to communicate better with policymakers and parents in particular.
