Project details
What we need
- Thorough review of the existing communication and marketing materials to ensure writing is understandable, engaging and consistent
- Edits conducted with respect to writing style, voice, length, and proper spelling and grammar
- Revised materials should adhere to branding, communications and marketing goals
Additional details
While we are very successful with the work we accomplish, we need to raise more funding to keep us going forward and for growth. We have several foundations that have been long-standing supporters and garner about $30-40,000 in private donations annually. One of our funders is sunsetting and we need to increase our income by about $100,000 annually.
What we have in place
- We currently have existing materials and target audiences, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have additional staff that can be involved & provide info needed, and the ability to provide any other information you need.

Our mission
The Smart on Pesticides Maryland coalition works to protect Marylanders and the natural systems we depend upon from the toxic impacts of pesticides. The Coalition includes 96 organizations and institutions representing communities, businesses, health care providers, farmers, environmentalists, Waterkeepers, interfaith congregants as well as environmental justice, public health and wildlife advocates. We promote policies, practices, and laws to reduce pesticide use and impact, and promote a paradigm shift to an organic lifestyle.
