Compensation Plan
Compensation Plan
Project details
What we need
- Review of job descriptions, pay structure, internal value, competitive market data, non-monetary rewards and benefits
- Recommendations for updating staff compensation and incentive plans
Additional details
The Institute for Nonprofit Practice is a small, growing entrepreneurial organization. We were founded in Boston and have expanded to serve four communities in the New England region. This fall we are launching our program in New York with plans to scale nationally over the next several years. Our team has grown from four to thirteen over the last year and will continue to grow as we scale. Now is a critical time to build up our internal HR systems and structures to support our staff.
What we have in place
- As the COO I will be the lead on this project and have my SPHR licence from SHRM. Since joining the team in May I have completed a comprehensive review of our HR files, job descriptions, and compensation. We need support with external benchmarking and crafting a plan to assess our current benefit providers, consider alternatives and new benefits. I also want to develop strong materials that outline total compensation for the team and potential job candidates.
How this will help
This project will save us $6,746 , allowing us to serve more leaders in our Core Certificate program and Community Fellows program.
It is critical to our ability to provide a best in class employee experience and be competitive in the job market, especially as we hire Executive Directors to launch new sites.
