Project details

What we need
  • Designs for one piece of marketing or communications collateral (e.g., fact sheet, case study, event invitations)
  • Templates with accurate, print-ready specifications
  • Note: Please post an additional project if more than one piece of collateral is needed
Additional details

We'd like to create a series of folded note cards (4x6 or 5x7) that each feature a photo and quote from one of our program alumni on the front and are blank inside. We'd like 4 note card designs total (one student featured on each card).

What we have in place
  • We currently have photos and quotes from each student, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a style guide for logo use and branded colors, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $945 , allowing us to provide more direct financial and material support to homeless youth.

So much of our success depends on our ability to motivate donors to support our homeless students. We want to accurately tell student stories. Featuring 4 of our alumni on note cards, sharing their own words, will enhance our ability to reach out to donors with our students' personal stories at the forefront. How inspiring!

Our mission

Youth On Their Own (YOTO) supports the high school graduation and continued success of youth experiencing homelessness.

What we do

YOTO serves homeless Pima County (Arizona) youth in grades 6-12 by providing financial assistance (a monthly stipend and emergency bill payment assistance), basic human needs (free food, hygiene products, clothing, school supplies and more), and one-on-one guidance.

The graduation rate among YOTO students is currently 82% which is 4% higher than the AZ state average of 78%.

Testimonials

Carree was very quick and flexible with our needs. She made time to work on a fairly small project for us, but it will have a big impact!

Elizabeth reached out to see if I was interested in helping out with note cards to help raise awareness and donations for Youth On Their Own. After reading up on the organization I was 100% in and didn't regret the decision. Would work with YOTO again.
