  • Minor updates to Organization’s existing website (e.g. adding new copy and/or images, customizing styles/themes, basic layout revising, etc.)
  • Training for Organization staff on how to make minor updates going forward (if applicable)

What we have in place
  • We currently have a functioning website and collateral materials, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have motivated personnel, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,666 , allowing us to utilize funds for project essential items such as paint, brushes, rentals, etc...

This project will increase our web presence, allow for volunteer sign up, and greatly increase our fundraising capabilities to help service our community.

Prep: Share Scope of Changes
  • Volunteer Manager shares link to existing website with Professional
  • Volunteer Manager provides list of required updates to make (including sharing content or image assets, as necessary)
  • Both parties review our pro-tips for Organizations and Volunteers to ensure the project is set up for success

Milestone 1: Kick-Off Meeting
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional connect to discuss requested updates, and agree on a project timeline
  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with credentials to access the website admin portal

Milestone 2: Review Updates
  • Professional makes the requested updates to the website (if available, the changes should be made in a test or development environment first)
  • Volunteer Manager reviews each update, and reports any remaining issues to the Professional

Milestone 3: Implementation of Updates
  • Professional implements updates to the live website
  • Professional troubleshoots any issues that may arise immediately after implementing changes on the live site

Milestone 4: Training (Optional)
  • If requested, Professional trains up to 3 team members on how to update site and resolve minor issues going forward

Our mission

The San Francisco Veterans Mural Project (Veterans Alley) is a community based mural project located in San Francisco's Tenderloin District. The project consists of murals, covering over 30,000 sq. feet of public facing walls in an alley, where veterans paint their own stories about the true reality of WAR and the military experience.

The pixel
