MITIGATION OF COVID-19 HEALTH AND SOCIO-ECONOMIC IMPACT ON CHILDREN LIVING WITH HIV/AIDS IN RUSINGA ISLAND...KENYA
The COVID 19 pandemic presents a significant threat to children Living with HIV/AIDS (CLHIV) and for the global HIV response.
Concerns about potential exposure to COVID-19 in health facilities has led to interruptions in treatment and other essential services for people living with HIV.
Target population
The project targets 285 children living HIV between the age of 0-17 years in Ru
What we have in place
- We currently have raw data on the problem and ready to offer more information, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have project personnel, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $1,390 , allowing us to provide one year medical health insurance fund for very poor and needy households with children living with HIV.
The project will help suppression of viral load of children living with HIV thus boosting their immunity. Our goal as an organization to provide quality care for children living with HIV at their household level by improving their overall welfare. Additionally, the organization will share success stories on the impact of donor support.
