MITIGATION OF COVID-19 HEALTH AND SOCIO-ECONOMIC IMPACT ON CHILDREN LIVING WITH HIV/AIDS IN RUSINGA ISLAND...KENYA
The COVID 19 pandemic presents a significant threat to children Living with HIV/AIDS (CLHIV) and for the global HIV response.
Concerns about potential exposure to COVID-19 in health facilities has led to interruptions in treatment and other essential services for people living with HIV.
Target population
The project targets 285 children living HIV between the age of 0-17 years in Ru
What we have in place
- We currently have raw data on the project, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have the support of ministry of Health and govern,emt departments, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $15,640 , allowing us to register very vulnerable households with children on care with national medical / health insurance fund.
Our goal is to provide quality care for children living with HIV at their household level by improving their overall welfare. The project will help suppression of viral load of children living with HIV thus boosting their immunity. Additionally, the organization will share success stories on the impact of donor support.

Sexual gender based violence is a serious health issue on women and children, we are committed to SGBV prevention and access to justice for victims and survivors of violence in the community.
