What we need
  • Visual branding guidelines/style guide in .pdf and/or print format that includes specific colors, primary and secondary typefaces, minimum size and buffer space for logo, examples of incorrect logo usage, and any other graphic design elements, to guide use in print and digital communications materials

JCLC is celebrating our 30th year of operation and under going a brand "refresh". I have a new logo but need branding guidelines as well as letterhead, envelopes, business cards, etc.

What we have in place
  • We have a new logo and I can provide you with examples/ideas of how I would like our new letterhead, envelopes, etc to look but need help finding a font that will work for text. I can share what we are currently using and why I want a refresh.
How this will help
This project will save us $6,027 , allowing us to create a presence and brand recognition in our county that we would not be able to afford otherwise. At this point all extra funds are going toward PPE for our home visitors safety and protection.

Our goal is to refresh our brand to help celebrate our 30th anniversary. We started the process pre-covid with a new website and logo but have had to reduce expenses with so many unknowns from funders in the upcoming year. By having branding guidelines, letterhead, envelopes, business cards, etc we will be able to have a new, updated presence as our services expand across our county.

  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with current logo, current branding guidelines (if available), and any existing marketing/communications materials (letterhead, business cards, social media usage, etc.)
  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with examples of 1-2 branding guidelines from existing companies they feel have great branding guidelines

Milestone 1: Brainstorm
  • Professional and Volunteer Manager connect to discuss the branding goals, target audience, and preferred design elements
  • Professional and Volunteer Manager agree on what should be covered in the visual branding guide

Milestone 2: Visual Branding Guidelines/Style Guide
  • Professional drafts the visual branding guidelines, which features a mission statement, specific set of colors, fonts, correct logo usage, and any custom graphic elements to be incorporated in future communications
  • Volunteer Manager reviews the draft guidelines and provides feedback
  • Professional incorporates feedback and prepares the final version
  • If custom graphics are included in the agreed-upon scope of work, the Professional provides them in high-resolution formats for digital and print use

Our mission is to strengthen the capacity of families to nurture, support and provide for their child's academic development, emotional growth and physical wellbeing by establishing effective relationships between home and school. We accomplish this by utilizing the Parents as Teachers Home Visiting Model with families and school districts across Chautauqua County.
