What we need
  • 3-5 one hour strategy sessions with a marketing professional covering topics like marketing channels, messaging, branding and target audiences
  • A written summary of marketing goals, target audiences and channels to prioritize
  • A starter plan of recommendations & actionable next steps to begin executing your strategy
  • Note: This project does not include the creation of content such as emails, print materials, or social media posts
What we have in place
  • We currently have a branding analysis conducted by an outside organization, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a marketing team with defined goals, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,998 , allowing us to create a marketing strategy even though we have recently lost 40% of our funding due to COVID.

Green Our Planet has just undergone a branding analysis with the goal of launching a new website and new marketing materials with the goal to reflect the current organization's new growth. This is a perfect time to bring in a marketing expert to advise us on the creation of a comprehensive marketing strategy.

Our mission

Green Our Planet is a 501(c)3 nonprofit conservation organization that runs the largest and one of the most comprehensive STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) school garden and hydroponics programs in the United States. The program's mission is to increase student academic performance in STEM subjects as well as to conserve and protect the environment through project-based STEM education, which includes nutrition, financial literacy, and conservation education in PreK-12 schools.

What we do

Green Our Planet helps schools across the country create comprehensive outdoor garden and indoor hydroponic programs that teach STEM, nutrition, entrepreneurship, and conservation. The gardens are used as "living laboratories," which help inspire students to become the next generation of scientists, farmers, chefs, and entrepreneurs.

97% of the teachers who use our school garden programs recommend them to other schools while our programs are now the largest of their kind in the country. We work with schools everywhere from Alaska to Florida because we are able to deliver our programming online. We also run the only school garden programs accredited by STEMworks in the U.S.
