Website Content Plan
Help Community Advocates For Family & Youth get organized for their website development project by identifying what types of information and images they need, and creating a plan to pull it all together.
Website Content Plan
Project details
What we need
- A document outlining each page and section of the website, with descriptions of written and visual content for each
- An assessment of the written content, specifically indicating where written content is final, draft (needs editing), or needs to be written from scratch
- An assessment of the visual content, specifically indicating which visual assets are ready and which need to be created or sourced
- Advice on how to collect content from other places (e.g., marketing materials, grant proposals, event photos, etc.) and edit it for the website
- Note: This project is for content planning only. For additional support, see the Website Creation: Build a Brand New Site bundle
What we have in place
- We currently have an existing website, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a motivated project manager, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $1,636 , allowing us to allocate more dollars to case management, providing legal services and operating a 24/7 phone helpline.
CAFY provides holistic support services to all victims of crime in Prince George's County, MD, providing services including counseling, legal services, safe custody transfer programs and more. We need the website to clearly convey how we can be of service to clients, and make it clear that under-served clients including members of the LGBTQI community are welcomed. We also need the website to explain our operations to prospective volunteers so they know whether and how they could contribute.

Testimonials
I had a wonderful experience working on a website content plan with Lisa! Her analysis and insights led our organization to consider questions we had not even realized we needed to think about. Lisa was also extremely professional and a breeze to work with. I would relish the opportunity to work with another volunteer from Lisa's workplace, LMI.
It was such a pleasure to work with Monty, from Community Advocates for Family & Youth! CAFY is clearly committed to reaching individuals in need of their services, and is seeking continuous improvement. This was my first short term project with Catchafire, and it will not be my last - I enjoyed the challenge of applying my professional skills to assist a non-profit organization.
