Online Research
Online Research
Project details
What we need
- A compilation of research on a specific topic (e.g. industry best practices, literature review, media contacts, industry trends, etc.) including a list of sources
- Recommendations on areas for further exploration/research
- Note: This project is not designed to be used for prospect or grant research
Additional details
We are looking for someone very savvy in social media online research to help us identify and connect with new donors and market our merchandise campaigns. We need help compiling contact lists of local donors/celebrities, social media influencers, blogs, publications, Facebook and Instagram groups, and other opportunities specific to the campaigns we are developing (e.g. parenting blogs, local celebrities' and influences' social media contacts, etc.).
What we have in place
- We have a dedicated volunteer coordinator who will support you on this project. We have found a few contact directories and other resources to start with.
How this will help
This project will save us $5,239 , allowing us to feed and provide daily healthcare for our 65+ rescued farm animals and special needs animals. Every dollar saved helps us to provide sanctuary to more animals in need, and outreach to the community.
We are committed to helping the many animals who are not fortunate enough to make it to sanctuary, as well as the animals who do find their way to us. We are developing outreach campaigns to spread awareness on animal issues, and to hopefully generate funding through merchandise campaigns for the sanctuary and other animal organizations.
Project plan
Our mission
Founded in 2018, Magical Creatures Sanctuary rescues, rehabilitates, and offers life-long sanctuary to farmed animals on the Big Island while serving the Hawaiian community with programs that promote kindness, compassion, and stewardship.
What we do
Magical Creatures is an entirely volunteer-run organization and we are privileged to have an extraordinarily dedicated team. Many of our residents were evacuated from farms during the 2018 volcanic eruption, but the majority were saved from slaughter, rescued from neglect, have special needs, or were orphaned or injured in the wild. We provide lifelong care to the animals we rescue, and we do everything we can to ensure that injured, neglected, or lost farmed animals can find peace with us and live the rest of their lives with dignity.
