What we need
  • An edited 1-3 minute video delivered in electronic format as agreed upon between the Professional and Organization, with HD quality as a master version, along with any agreed upon formats for final usage
Additional details

We would like to create a video tour of our shelter to put on our website.

What we have in place
  • We currently have videos on phones, photos of the shelter, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a zoom tour video, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $5,422 , allowing us to put that money into shelter maintenance and programs.

Having a professional tour video of the shelter will help us show people our shelter who may not live in our area or do not have to ability to physically come. Our shelter is very unique and it is something you have to see to really appreciate.

Prep: Information Sharing & Asset Exchange
  • Volunteer Manager provides overview of vision and goals for video, as well as information about target audience
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional agree upon file format and length of video
  • Volunteer Manager collects collateral (e.g. raw video footage, photos, testimonials, media materials) to be edited into the video, and digitizes all the materials in the format and resolution suggested by the professional. If applicable, the Organization provides links to 3-5 videos it would like the professional to use as a creative guideline for the final product

Milestone 1: Video Outline & Script Finalization
  • Professional reviews assets that the Organization shared (including existing footage and proposed script) to create video outline
  • Professional shares with Organization and incorporates feedback

Milestone 2: Video Creation & Feedback
  • Professional creates video in agreed upon format and shares with Organization for feedback (up to 2 rounds)

Milestone 3: Final Video Delivery
  • Professional delivers final video in agreed upon format

Our mission

Advocating for animal rights and ending needless euthanasia of at-risk felines through protection, adoption, and sanctuary.

What we do

For 55 years The Hermitage has been dedicated to the shelter, protection, and care of homeless cats, especially those that are often not considered adoptable by other organizations. We are both an adoption facility and a long-term sanctuary. In addition, The Hermitage has its own medical suite where we are able to provide state-of-the-art care for our cats. Providing in-house medical care greatly reduces the stress on the cats and improves their overall well-being.
