Additional details
The Peninsula Community Opiate Response (PCOR) group is a coalition of over 20 government, non-profit and business agencies who are committed to the education and prevention of opioid use in Hampton & Newport News, VA. We want to energize our group and make an impact, especially with the COVID challenge.
What we have in place
- We currently have a Strategic Plan task force, 8 people, to work on this., which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have one staff member willing to coordinate the work, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,465 , allowing us to proceed with serving the needs of our citizens in reducing the opioid crisis in our community.
A strategic plan will provide the framework for our efforts for the next 1-2 years. By deciding on metrics, we will understand our success. We need to strengthen our organizational structure as part of the process.

Testimonials
Thomas is a professional who knows his subject; he is also personable and cares about the people and the assigned project. He monitored deadlines, kept in touch, offered excellent advice. His work product, a SWOT analysis, will provide the roadmap for our organization to move forward with a strategic plan. We need more assistance in the future and we will seek out Thomas.
I would like to thank the PCOR group for the opportunity to assist them in this very worthwhile cause! I really appreciated the engagement and energy in our facilitated sessions and believe the priorities they co-created will serve the program well in the coming months and years. I would welcome the opportunity to to assist PCOR again in the future.
