Project details

What we need
  • Significant update to Organization’s existing CMS website, such as adding a new page, customizing a theme, adjusting layout, etc.
  • Smaller update to Organization's non-CMS website
Additional details

Our current website hasn't received an update in 5 years. Our organization has grown from 1 employee to 8 employees and I want our growth to be reflected on our website.

What we have in place
  • We have a fully functioning website, lots of content and copy, and a staff person to work alongside the designer and/or copy editor to update the site.
How this will help
This project will save us $15,626 , allowing us to put those resources into the much-needed neighborhood revitalization and antiracism work that we do.

Our website should tell the message of our work. Right now it is content-heavy and doesn't really engage our most important stakeholders, the residents of our neighborhood. They are the central focus of our work and yet our website does not draw them in.

Project plan

P

  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with credentials to access the website admin portal

  • Volunteer Manager reviews each update, and reports any remaining issues to the Professional
3
Milestone 3: Implementation of Updates
  • Professional implements updates to the live website
  • Professional troubleshoots any issues that may arise immediately after implementing changes on the live site
