Storytelling
Storytelling
Project details
What we need
- A compelling narrative, or set of stories
- Persuasive copy that can be used in appeals to donors, annual reports, grant applications, and media relations
- Popular examples: Organization's founding story, a program achievement or milestone, a look back at the past few years, organizational backgrounder, etc.
- Note: This project is not intended to support your general content planning or marketing but there are several projects in our Marketing & Communications category which are a good fit!
Additional details
We are looking to create a set of stories that help to best tell our story from inception to present that can be used in other areas of our work.
What we have in place
- We currently have a direction of where we'd like to take our storytelling, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have history of the organization and a founding story, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,397 , allowing us to support the families we work with and expand into other towns in our community to ensure that we are truly working as hard as we can to end diaper need.
Our founding is somewhat unique in the field we work in. Every Bottom Covered was founded by a single mother who raised a child in a low-income household and can speak from that experience and share the story to educate donors, volunteers, and stakeholders.
Project plan
Our mission
We are a non-profit organization built to help struggling families and keep their babies healthy by providing them with clean diapers and basic hygiene supplies. Like a caring and supportive close friend, we work with families from all different makeups, especially when they are down to the last diaper or feeling hopeless. By donations, fundraising and volunteer efforts, we inform, serve and elevate our community every single day.
What we do
Every Bottom Covered intakes clients and provides, through both partnerships and direct distribution to the families, clean diapering and basic hygiene supplies to underserved families in low-income households. We also work to advocate that diaper need be included in federal funding as diapers are not covered under any other low-income programs, such as SNAP (food stamps).
