Website Technical Updates
Website Technical Updates
Project details
What we need
- Updates and/or fixes to Organization’s existing website (e.g., bug fixes, plugin or widget integration, etc.)
- Training for up to 3 Organization staff members on how to resolve minor issues going forward (if applicable)
Additional details
We're looking for a WordPress expert to fix some bugs on codenation.org
- Fix the carousel issues on the homepage: there are several different carousels on the homepage and each one seems to act up. (One is turned off so you cannot see it via the live site).
- Fix the announcements feed on the homepage
- Add new navigation/sub nav without breaking the design
- Train up to two staff members on how to fix issues in the future.
What we have in place
- We currently have a Wordpress admin login, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a list of the issues that need to be fixed on the homepage, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,757 , allowing us to provide more students with laptops during the year-long course. For every $1000, we can provide one class of students with laptops.
Code Nation works to build pathways to careers in tech for people who are under-represented in the sector. The organization works with professional volunteers to provide free coding classes and fellowships to high schoolers in Chicago, NYC, and San Fransisco and is growing. We need our website to look professional and function properly for schools, students, and potential donors to be attracted to our organization.
