Project details

What we need
  • Review of up to 20 pages of copy for grammar, style, tone, and consistency
  • Advice on how to write effective copy going forward
Additional details

We have a one pager/issue brief (no more than 3 pages) regarding the potential impact of the Second Look bill (currently working its way through the Texas legislature) that needs to be copyedited and finalized before being distributed to community partners and political groups.

What we have in place
  • We currently have a working copy of the report, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have additional text/materials that need to be incorporated, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $1,792 , allowing us to preserve our limited resources and concentrate our efforts on this project's release and promotion.

This project will allow us to better advocate for the passage and importance of the Second Look bill, ultimately helping us realize our organization vision, stated as follows:

"We envision a justice system that uses developmentally-appropriate responses to behavior and treats youth and emerging adults with equity and dignity to promote resilience, conserve costs, and increase public safety."
