Event Concept & Plan
Event Concept & Plan
Project details
What we need
- 3-5 one hour calls with an events professional covering topics like concept, general structure, logistics, and target attendees
- A written summary of topics discussed, including event concept and theme, general plan, estimated budget (optional), and articulated goals (feel free to use this template as a starting point)
- Note: This project does not include on-site event coordination or support on the day of the event
Additional details
We are working with UCSC on an expert panel discussion on developing game remedies for QAnon and disinformation movements. We have several speakers lined up who are cult or QAnon experts and game designers. We want to promote the event and use it as a lead in to the design of a game competition.
We are looking for volunteers to help us promote this event and help with development/fundraising work. For details see: https://qremedy.org/solving-for-q-research-and-solutions/panel-discussion/
What we have in place
- We currently have an event outline, confirmed speakers and academic partner, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have excited staff, written materials and a critical mission, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,002 , allowing us to build our capacity, get our message out, find new volunteers and focus on development and fundraising.
QAnon and disinformation movements are a threat to the nations democracy. There are very few resources available to QCasualities (negatively effected friends and family of QAnon followers) or for disillusioned QAnon followers who want to off ramp, QRemedy is locating existing tools and developing new ones.
Because it is a novel threat, QAnon requires novel tools to address and we are specifically investigating game based solutions including the possibility of developing a game competion.

Our mission
QRemedy is an analysis and support organization dedicated to countering QAnon. We act as a hub for information about QAnon and related movements, especially support for those who have lost friends, family, or colleagues to QAnon and those questioning their own involvement with Qanon. We offer novel tools and research designed to prevent conspiracy theories, disinformation, and misinformation from spreading.
