What we need
  • Ongoing web development support for 10-15 hours over the course of 4 weeks
  • Support may include: website maintenance, updates or improvements
  • Note: We devised this project to connect nonprofits and volunteers for more flexible, more immediate impact. We strongly suggest you start with 4 weeks and decide from there if you'd like to continue working.
Additional details

We have a website hosted through WordPress (https://employU.org) and would like to reorganize the site so that it has a better flow for usability, eliminates redundant content, and overall has a cleaner, less cluttered feel. We are not looking to change the site template/layout, but instead, we are trying to work with what we have to achieve these goals. We would also like to create an organized, concise way to explain our complex services to potential clients through the website.

What we have in place
  • We have the ability to give you backend access to the website, any creative assets you may need, and are able to answer any questions you may have about the organization.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,757 , allowing us to provide enhanced services to more clients

Having a well-organized, user-friendly website will allow us to more easily bring awareness to our services for the disability community, thus giving us the opportunity to help more individuals prepare for, find, and obtain a fulfilling, sustainable career.

  • Both parties review our pro-tips for Organizations and Volunteers to ensure the project is set up for success

Step 1: Ongoing Support
  • Volunteer delivers ongoing support according to determined outline
  • Weekly check-ins to ensure support is being offered as agreed upon by both parties

Step 2: Training & Offboarding
  • Volunteer provides any relevant training to the Volunteer Manager to help them continue work, as necessary, after 4 weeks
