What we need
  • A compelling narrative, or set of stories
  • Persuasive copy that can be used in appeals to donors, annual reports, grant applications, and media relations
  • Popular examples: Organization's founding story, a program achievement or milestone, a look back at the past few years, organizational backgrounder, etc.
  • Note: This project is not intended to support your general content planning or marketing but there are several projects in our Marketing & Communications category which are a good fit!
Additional details

I would like assistance in a storytelling project to highlight one of the programs we implemented this summer. It's a short but sweet version. I also have a deadline so I am looking for someone who can complete in the next two weeks.

What we have in place
  • We currently have some pictures, videos, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have the curriculum that can serve as a guide, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,397 , allowing us to transportation, refreshments and educational field trips for the students in the upcoming after-school programming.

This project will assist us in the reporting process which is a goal we would like to achieve.

  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with relevant background materials (e.g., annual reports, white papers, brochures, organizational history)

  • Professional presents and discusses primary story angle(s) to the Volunteer Manager
  • Volunteer Manager facilitates interviews between Professional and individuals willing to share their story (if applicable)

Our mission

My S.I.S.T.A.H.S Keeper, Inc. is a non-profit community organization developed to give girls/young ladies a safe place to speak about difficult issues that affect their lives. It is also a program that will teach, as well as model communication, listening, and problem-solving skills. In addition it offers girls/young ladies opportunities for self-discovery and healthy friendship building skills. The primary goal of this program is to empower and provide mentoring for girls in the US Virgin Islands' community.
