Project details

What we need
  • A compelling narrative, or set of stories
  • Persuasive copy that can be used in appeals to donors, annual reports, grant applications, and media relations
  • Popular examples: Organization's founding story, a program achievement or milestone, a look back at the past few years, organizational backgrounder, etc.
  • Note: This project is not intended to support your general content planning or marketing but there are several projects in our Marketing & Communications category which are a good fit!
Additional details

We are looking to include a compelling narrative of the work we do and why it is necessary here on Maui in our annual report and donor appeals.

The goal is to have a story that will (1) stress the impact of our work, (2) pull at the heartstrings of donors, and (3) help new donors be aware of all that we do.

What we have in place
  • We currently have program descriptions, org descriptions used for grant apps, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have org history, goals & objectives, mission/vision statements, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,397 , allowing us to focus on furthering our program goals and objectives, including community food systems and garden education.

We are working hard to maximize our programs' impact on Maui, and this project will help share the story with our supporters, new members of the community, and potential donors. Having a clear story to share can make a difference in how people interact with our organization, via donations or volunteering time/resources.
