Ever had a great idea but couldn't get the words to match how enthusiastic you are about your idea. Well, the team at Kids First is struggling with getting our ideas and offerings on paper. We are looking for a strong copy writer to support the streamlining and creation of communications materials. We would love support with creating a brochure, a one pager and some fundraising narratives.

What We Have In Place
  • We currently have a lot of promo material, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have some really great people to help provide context, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How This Will Help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to pay our small group of employees and contractors that are helping us expand our programs

This project is important because we are at a pivotal point within our organization. We know internally that our work is impactful but we need to tell the story. We also are at a point where we can expand our work and get additional funding.

Prep: Distribution of Prep Materials
  • Volunteer Manager provides examples of existing communications and marketing materials such as links to website and social media, brochures, and other collateral
  • Volunteer Manager provides brand messaging guide and marketing strategy (if applicable)
  • Volunteer Manager communicates initial concept for deliverables to be created
Milestone 1: Information Gathering
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional connect to discuss goals of copywriting deliverables, target audience, and desired style and tone of writing
Milestone 2: First Draft
  • Professional shares first drafts of copy with Volunteer Manager for feedback with respect to style, tone, clarity, and length
Milestone 3: Finalize Copy
  • Professional incorporates feedback and submits final copy for review
