What we need
  • Document with charts, graphs or other data visualizations that reflect your data in clear and concise ways
Additional details

We have aggregated data related to adult English learners (zip code, country of origin, etc) and classes from the last completed fiscal year in the form of Excel spreadsheets. We have specific data points that we would like to highlight through visualizations, preferably using Tableau.

What we have in place
  • We currently have visualizations from last year, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have raw data compiled for this year, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,324 , allowing us to support more English classes for immigrant adults.

Visualizations from this project will be featured in the annual online Storymap data presentation on our website as well as other MCAEL publications. Analysis and visualization of this data is critical in illustrating the successes as well as gaps in provision of ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) services across our county, for our funders as well as for the 60-70 ESOL programs in our network.
