Website Accessibility Audit
Website Accessibility Audit
Project details
What we need
- A list of the common issues along with the prioritization of both severity and impact of the accessibility issues found
- List of areas that do not meet the Section 508, ADA, WCAG 2.0 guidelines
- Specific recommendations to improve product accessibility their priority level (low, medium, and high priority)
- Estimated time needed to fix current compliance issues
What we have in place
- We currently have a wordpress cms with metrics we can provide from clicky, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a webmaster to advise with implementing recommendations, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to focus on the implementation of fixes that will help with the overall user experience.
We want to make sure the content on our site is accessible to all who need to access it in order to further our work with equity. With our last update to the site, we believe there still are areas to address regarding accessibility that could be helped by completing an audit to find those areas and fix them.
Project plan
Our mission
The West Contra Costa Public Education Fund is an intermediary focused on building an aligned ecosystem so that children and youth in West Contra Costa can build the capacities to succeed in life.
What we do
The West Contra Costa Public Education Fund (Ed Fund) was founded in 1983 in response to the decline in funding to public education caused by the passage of Proposition 13. Proposition 13 severely cut funding to local public schools.
Through corporate and private partners, educator grants, and collective impact we provide a vehicle for champions of public education to support programs that help students furthest from opportunity prosper.
Testimonials
I enjoyed working with Nathan, Priyanka, and Jackie on this project. After the initial call and email, they went right to work on the audit and submitted their draft on time for me to review and provide comments. The final draft is well researched and offers guidance and more questions about accessibility.
I enjoyed working The Ed Fund and Lucia. They were responsive and provided timely feedback. I am confident they will take action on our work, and would be happy to work with them again.
